82 m2 living
2 bedrooms
Upper house
Beautifully renovated double upstairs home of approx. 82 m² with balcony and roof terrace of approx. 19 m² overlooking one of the loveliest canals of Amsterdam and the Westertoren. The house was completely renovated in 2018, using only high-quality materials in combination with beautiful vintage items.
Upon entering the apartment on the 3rd floor, the peaceful atmosphere of the house is immediately noticeable. The beautiful cast floor, combined with high ceilings (2.70 meters) where the authentic wooden beams have been preserved, create a serene vibe. The three large windows at the front (living room with open-plan kitchen) provide plenty of natural light and at the same time offer a fantastic view over the canal.
The dark forest green open kitchen is equipped with various built-in appliances, including a SMEG gas stove with oven, dishwasher, and a special copper faucet with vintage look. The dining area is reached through a steel sliding door that is largely made of glass, making both rooms flow seamlessly into each other. Furthermore, at the rear there is ample natural light as well, because of two French doors that give access to the house-wide balcony of 8 m2. Also, the dining room boasts a large, bespoke built-in closet and air conditioning.
On the 4th and top floor (with air conditioning), the master bedroom with en-suite bathroom are located at the front. Here too, the necessary storage space is created by means of a custom-built closet (also under the bed). At the rear, a second (bed)room is located. The roof terrace of approximately 19 m² – facing southeast – is accessible through French doors. The roof terrace offers an amazing view over the city.
