270 m2 living
2 bedrooms
Ground house
Stylish Townhouse with open layout and private parking garage, in one of Amsterdam’s best locations.
This modernly designed, very spacious apartment of approximately 270 m² is located on the ground floor of ‘The Glass House’, completed in 2012, in the residential part of the Museum Quarter.
The residence offers a unique combination of space, natural light, and design. Thanks to the distinctive design of this former PPT building, which retains the original ceiling heights, an abundance of light floods in, giving the living room a loft-like feel.
With two spacious bedrooms, en-suite bathrooms, a 47 m² east-facing garden, two indoor parking spaces, a large storage room, and an elevator, this home is fully equipped with luxury amenities.
Upon entering, the spacious living room is situated on the right, characterized by exceptionally high ceilings, large windows, and a wide, 1.5-meter mirrored fireplace seamlessly integrating a gas fireplace and TV.
The living room connects to the open kitchen and dining area. The kitchen is equipped with Gaggenau appliances, including a convection oven, steam oven, Quooker, two wine climate cabinets, a grill plate, a four-burner gas stove, and a double-width fridge and freezer. Open doors provide access to a lush city garden, offering ample space for multiple lounge areas.
On the ground floor, a comfortable guest bedroom with an en-suite bathroom can be closed off by sliding doors. The hallway features a separate toilet, a technical room, and a wardrobe closet.
The iconic open staircase leads to the first floor, where the grand bedroom is located. Opposite the bed is a built-in setup with a wide fireplace and TV.
Extending from the bedroom is a walk-in closet area. Custom-designed wardrobes line the entire length of the wall, with a tailor-made central dressing unit. There is potential to create a third bedroom here. The adjacent bathroom is exceptionally bright and luxurious, featuring a freestanding bathtub in the centre, a double sink, a special shower toilet, and a spacious walk-in shower.
In the building’s basement, a parking garage includes two parking spaces belonging to the apartment, located directly at the base of the ramp next to the elevator and external storage room. The parking spaces are not included in the asking price.
Additionally, the basement includes a spacious storage area and bicycle parking.
